From The President
Hello CAPPA members and all,
Things are starting to turn green here, and I’d bet many of you are as excited about the end of winter as I am.
The CAPPA board met recently in Allen, Texas for the spring board meeting. This meeting was held at the Marriott Dallas Allen Hotel & Convention Center where we will be holding the fall CAPPA Conference. I’m excited about returning to Allen. The venue and surrounding area are very nice. Details for the conference are in their final planning stages!

Dear CAPPA members and all,
I hope everyone enjoyed the recent CAPPA Conference hosted by the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. As always, the camaraderie was great, and I heard many conversations about interesting and engaging topics from the educational sessions presented. Attendance was good and everyone seemed to enjoy gathering in person once again.
New this year were round table discussion sessions intended to spark conversations amongst colleagues about specific topics. If you liked that format, please let someone on the Professional Development committee know. I’m sure they would appreciate any feedback that helps plan future sessions. This committee is dedicated to ensuring the learning opportunities remain valuable.
From The President
CAPPA is extremely thrilled to be hosting the 2022 face-to-face annual conference October 9—11, 2022 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
This year’s theme is “Every Interaction Matters”. We build relationships – and our reputations – on how we communicate and relate to others.
From The President
First, I would like to state that our success would not be possible without the dedication of our members and business partners, as well as the strong leadership and hard work of our small, but mighty Board of Directors.
From The President
It was such a joy to see everyone at the 2021 CAPPA conference! Remember our theme as you continue through your academic year… “Resilience, Connect, Inspire.” The conference was all about connecting with our peers, inspiring each other in new ways, and uniting in our efforts to resolve issues.
From The President
This year is continuing to provide opportunities to improve and adapt to situations. CAPPA is currently planning our in-person conference October 10th – 12th in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This year’s theme is “Shared Resilience – Connect. Inspire. Unite” in honor of the post-normal year of 2020-2021.
